CB Series-Mechanically Seam Roofing Panels

Mechanically seamed metal roofing systems are one of the toughest waterproofing materials available in terms of durability, endurance and performance. Due to the watertight seal created when properly seamed with a special metal roofing seamer we are able to offer a special no dollar limit watertight roofing warranty on our roofs. The CB or mechanically seamed series of roofing panels are perfect for roofs with lower pitches. The pictures below demonstrate how the panels are seamed together.

Comparing The Lifecycle of metal vs. asphalt roofing

A metal roofing system is one of the wisest financial investments you can make. While the upfront cost is more than an asphalt roofing system if you look at the lifecycle of alternative materials metal makes both dollars and sense! A metal roof can last well over 50 years where most asphalt shingle systems have a true roof life of 17-25 years. It is very likely that an asphalt shingle system will need to be replaced 4 times or more in the life of a metal roof. Here is a modern day cost breakdown to see how much money you can save in a lifetime with metal.

  • Asphalt roofing system installed on a 2000 square foot roof $8,000.
  • Metal roofing system installed on a 2000 square foot roof $14,000.
  • In 50 years an asphalt roofing system will need to be replaced a minimum of 2 times. Your cost has now increased to more than $16,000 with inflation and your filling the landfills with more asphalt roofing.
  • A metal roofing system will last well beyond 50 years so your initial investment of $14,000 is all you will pay!
  • In the long run a metal roof costs less!
